My mom was sitting outside andiamo the yesterday drinking a tea when a news channel twenty anchor came up to her and asked her her thoughts about the debt ceiling. She answered that honestly she hadn't been following it too much, which I presume a lot of people (including myself) may have answered. In a way this was good and bad...since this interview was broadcasted on local television my hope is that it will encourage some people to be more aware of the president's and congress' acts regarding budgets and spending. I know it sure prompted me to spend a few googling the topic.
